‘Block’, ‘Tangle’ wins Romanian film award

The 10th Short to the Point Film Festival in Romania has announced its January 2019 award winners with two awards for Iranian short films.

Best Animation Award was given to ‘Tangle’ by Malihe Ghloamzadeh while 15-minute ‘Block’ by Mostafa Rabbani received Award for Best Drama.

The two shorts have been qualified to attend the annual competition of the film event.

Founded in 2009, the Short to the Point is an international film festival active in the distribution, broadcasting, and promotion of short films on an international level.

The festival offers monthly as well as annual awards for short films in various categories.

In line with the distribution and introduction of short films in Romania, the festival screens films featured in monthly competition in more than 30 Romanian cities.
